Just posting my response to a thread from a listserv ("Solutions") I belong to.  The last two days or so have been spent talking about gas prices, government spending, tax cuts, program-cutting, etc.  I guess I got pretty fired up when someone attacked the National Endowment for the Arts and suggested that we cut funding for the program...

It seems like so long ago that I wrote that entry about the Marlins.  It seems like a year ago.  I almost don't remember it... the sweetness of the at-home sports victory and all of the fun/excitement it brought to our community.

I had fully intended to post a piece of my own poetry here, but the file with all of my poems seems to have vanished. Perhaps I saved it on a disk, but I could have sworn that the file was saved to my download folder in AOL. Oh well.
