For my birthday in April a friend bought me a Chinese Hot Pot, since she knew I love Asian food. I hadn't had a chance to use it, until this past Friday.

This is a treat I haven't had since 2002. The only place I've ever had it before was at the buddhist temple in Japan where they invented tofu. This wasn't nearly as good as monk-made, of course, but its still incredibly tasty.

Chicken, mirin, soy sauce, ginger, orange juice, onions, bell peppers: all over organic lomein noodles. . .*shrugs* . . .not authentic by any means. . .just a dish by a girl who loves her soy sauce and orange juice together.
