I finally made macarons for the first time! They are a bit of a pain but worth it in the end. The filling is a prickly pear & passion fruit curd (prickly pear is the unusual ingredient this week).

Okay. So two questions:

First one being, besides the normal Banana bread, I have a whole bunch of very ripe bananas. What should I do with them?

My wonderful friend's wonderful boyfriend has agreed to make my wedding cake. I requested that it have Chantilly filling. His first trial run of the frosting turned out to more of a glaze and got kind of runny.
