Corn Chowder
3 medium baking potatoes (I use 5-6 red potatoes), diced
1 onion, diced
1/4 cup butter
1 cup water
Combine the above. Bring to a boil. Simmer until tender (about 20 minutes)
Add:
1 lb can of corn, undrained (I like my corn chowder with lots of corn, so I use 2 cans)
3 Cups milk
Dash worcestershire sauce (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Simmer, NEVER boil, approx. 20 minutes
Serve with cruchy bread or your favourite sammie.
