I was browsing through one of my mom's old astrology books (trying to find thematically appropriate birthdays for the Maenad girls), and I got the idea for these. Not that I haven't had enough to do already, what with Thanksgiving and NaNo and all...
Aries. With a superhero cape because she is Just That Awesome.
Taurus, with her stylin' Holstein print chaps and cowbell.
Miss Gemini. It's hard to represent twins with a picture of one person, so I tried to get a feeling of dividedness or duality, plus airiness and motion.
Cancer and a friend. Despite her lack of opposable thumbs, she's still the best cook in the zodiac.
Leo the sparkly catgirl.
Virgo. The mop is because she's the resident Neat Freak.
Libra. She can see with the blindfold on, but nobody's received a satisfactory explanation of the mechanism.
Scorpio. She's a drow lookalike because I wanted something a bit ominous and mysterious.
Sagittarius says "Hey guys!!! ^_^" I originally imagined her as a redhead, but a website said that the sign's color is purple, so I used that for her hair.
Capricorn. I see the earth signs alternating as the self-proclaimed Only Sane Woman, although Taurus is more low-key about it.
Aquarius, by contrast, is the resident Mad Scientist/Free Spirit/Manic Pixie Dream Girl.
Pisces. I see Pisces and Cancer as being the most typically moe ones.
