1. What did you do in 2012 that you hadn’t done before?
Went blonde. Stopped eating meat. Celibacy.
2. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A few people on facebook but none that really count.

Thankfully no.
4. Did you travel? Where did you go? Best holiday memory?
I went to the UK for a month in late March/April. London, Liverpool, York, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Belfast and Dublin. The whole trip was incredible, but the highlight was easily when I went to Anfield with rehellinen to watch Liverpool play. A dream come true <3
5. Best thing you bought?
My Barbour jacket.
6. Where did most of your money go?
www.blackmilkclothing.com. Expensive cheese.
7. What do you wish you had done more of?
Going outside on weekends.
8. What do you wish you had done less of?
Crying every time I felt an emotion of any kind.
9. What kept you sane?
Alone time. Mindless consumerism.
10. What drove you mad?
Supporting Alexandr Dolgopolov. Trying to comb my hair when it’s wet. Commercial television.
11. What made you celebrate?
The Olympics and Paralympics! Being debt-free/financially comfortable for the first time in my life. Seeing Noel Fielding in the flesh.
12. What made you sad?
Rafael Nadal. When Renly died on Game of Thrones. How shitty the weather was for 80% of the year. When I left my M&S umbrella on the train.
13. How was your birthday this year and how old did you turn?
The Great Retweet Debacle got things off to a good start - Mandy trolled pretty much every AFL footballer on twitter into wishing me a happy birthday, which made us the most hated people in Melbourne once everyone worked out what was going on hahaha. Gary Ablett wished me a happy birthday with an emoji. It was glorious. Then went to Paco’s Tacos that night with a lovely crew. It was wet and cold but the food and the company was fantastic. I turned 28.
14. What political issue stirred you the most this year?
J.Gill's takedown of Tony Abbott was probably the highlight.
15. Were you in love in 2012?
Lol.
16. What would you like to have in 2013 that you didn’t have this year?
My own place. The ability to tie my hair up without loose short bits falling out everywhere.
17. What date(s) from 2012 will be etched in your memory and why?
7th April - Anfield.
18. What song will remind you of 2012?
Warrior - Kimbra/A-Trak/Mark Foster, The Vaccines - If You Wanna, Gangnam Style.
19. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
The only one I made last year was to give up drinking for a bit - I lasted 3 months so I guess that counts. My 2013 resolution is to GIVE UP SMOKING FFS.
20. Did you suffer illness or injury?
My knee got really fucked up when Jay dropped me on a concrete footpath. That was fun.
21. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? A tiny bit thinner.
iii. richer or poorer? Richer.
(I think this is the first time since I started doing these stupid things that I've got the trifecta for this question. BOOYAH.)
22. How will you be spending Christmas?
This is going to be my first vegetarian Christmas, so it should be interesting! It will be spent in the same way as the last few - lumping at home with Mum watching TV all day. On the menu this year is season 3 of Boardwalk Empire and old James Bond movies.

Hahahahahahahaha.
24. What was your favourite TV program?
The Olympics/Paralympics. Justified. The Walking Dead.

Fever Pitch - I’ve never read anything that sums up so much of what it means to be a football fan, and a sports fan in general.

One Direction. I’m only half joking.
27. What did you want and get?
A fabulous holiday. A promotion at work.

I honestly can't think of anything!
29. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012?
Leggings as pants.

Zayn Malik. Jessie J. Oscar Pistorius. Dane Swan.
31. Biggest achievement this year?
Learning how to pencil in my eyebrows.
32. Biggest disappointment this year?
Learning that blondes don't necessarily have more fun.
33. What is the one thing that would have made you more satisfied?
I feel like I say this every year but more sunshine.
34. Best new person you met this year?
Pretty sure everyone I hung out with this year was an existing friend. Maybe my new year's resolution for 2013 should be to meet new people haha.
