We've decided to stay where we're at this year. The short story is that our complex raised our rent $25/month but we got them to drop it down to only $10/month extra, which with the $100 resigning bonus comes to a grand total of $20 a year. We're still trying to figure out what exactly we're going to do next year for living situations. One of the possibilities involves me getting a dog. So... pet owners, how much do animals cost per month? Should we move to a particular apartment complex on the contingency that I *might* get one?
