Labor Day weekend has been really rather uneventful. From my perspective and with my school schedule, it and Memorial Day have to be the most worthlessly timed holidays on the calendar. Sigh... why is it so cold of a sudden? Thanksgiving weekend was perfect, and then this week it goes from 50's to 20's (10's at night) practically overnight. Everyone around me is rejoicing for snow... and it is rather pretty, especially these first... but it's so cold. So cold. This past week I've been on a service trip with my church to New Orleans, and it certainly was interesting. There's still a ton of destruction down there, and in certain parts of the city it really is like a ghost town - no one is living there. Let it be said that I will not play in any more WWJ games. It was the most quiet and the most frustrating game that I have ever played in. With the exception of a few good players (Nogrod, Roa, Folwren, Thinlomien - all of whom died pretty much right away), we were doing pretty well if there were five posts by the time I voted. Ah, final exams. I survived the relatives, etc. etc. Christmas day actually wasn't so bad, but Christmas Eve I certainly could have done without.
