So, Dad called from a train station in Beijing because (JUST FOR KICKS) he decided that he wanted to ride on the high speed train to Tianjin, about 73 miles (117 km) away. O.o Don't think I actually posted my last two drawings here... Anyhow, I just started doodling again for the first time in months. I drew some eyes, and then I shifted over and drew HRE and Ludwig from Hetalia. ^^;;;;; I'm putting Nazis down on my list of Things That Are Deceptively Easy To Draw But Actually Take A Lot Of Effort. :/

I was talking with and_zero and a few friends about this over dinner last night, and this topic still interests me.

In the United States, people will answer the question "What are you?" with some other place in the world ("I'm part Italian, I'm Egyptian, etc."). If we're out of the States, however, we answer "We're American." I'm sure we're not the ONLY ( Read more... )
