Hair and humidity
It's too hot and sticky to get much done today. It's only 86 degrees, which isn't horrid but couple that with 55% humidity and it feels pretty icky! Insomnia Girl didn't wake up until 1:00 PM so we don't have much of a day left. I still have to get a coffeemaker because I don't want have to run up to 7-11 tomorrow for coffee to stop another caffeine headache Like I had to today. The rest of the day will be indoor stuff.
My hair is it's happy red self again. Looking back on earlier posts, I haven't used shampoo since July of 2006. Can't say I miss it or the sodium laurel sulfate in it. I wash my hair with conditioner daily and it's happier than it's ever been. When i want to give it a more thorough cleansing I stick with non sls bar soaps. In fact, it's just about shoulder length now when it's dry and it's never looked better. I rarely have frizzy days any more, even on days like today, and my curls are a lot more relaxed than they used to be. I also find I need to use a lot less product these days. Since I colored my hair today, it has a generous coating of Oyin Homemade Burnt Sugar Pomade in it today to keep it happy. But usually I leave in some conditioner, finger comb it, scrunch it and go. Healthy hair is happy hair. :)
