I've been able to consistently exercise for 7 weeks now, which is a miracle. Usually I get sick after a week or two of trying to exercise ("The Weird Boniva Incident" was external and only threw me off for one session -- another miracle -- so I'm not counting it). Things that are not happening now that I did notice before: depression, muscle and joint aches and "wimpiness" (my feet don't hurt if I get up in the middle of the night or when I get up in the morning -- I couldn't find that symptom on any medical web rundown). It turns out that it's not all in my mind, that I'm not just a suicidal, lazy-ass, hypochondriac freak, but that I do have hypothyroidism. The endocrinologist did an ultrasound of my thyroid. I go to a lab tomorrow for blood tests. I have an appointment in 2 1/2 weeks to talk about it all. I'm so tired I can barely sit up, but need to make myself exercise. I also have an audition tonight -- galbinus_caeli is going to drive me because I'm mighty slow-brained right now. I have an appointment with an endocrinologist at 11 AM.

With the exercise and lack of appetite, it's a little surprising that I'm not losing weight (not so surprising if I turn out to have an under-active thyroid), but I have lost an inch on my waist and hips, which is a mighty nice reward for "keepin' up with it".
