I've been able to consistently exercise for 7 weeks now, which is a miracle. Usually I get sick after a week or two of trying to exercise ("The Weird Boniva Incident" was external and only threw me off for one session -- another miracle -- so I'm not counting it). My last Dr's appointment showed my thyroid level to be good -- in fact everything is right smack within the "normal" range. Yay!
Lately at the fabric store I've been drawn to the bright, sparkly, shiny fabrics that made me want to sew when I was a child. We'd drive from D.C. to Black Mountain and stop at the fabric outlets along the way where Momma would let me buy a remnant of satin or some other formal fabric that I'd hand sew into fairy shoes or doll clothes. I'll never be a professional costumer (too A.D.D.) but I really need to get back to making up fantasy costumes for myself. I have something in mind for Dragon*Con (really for WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERHERO?) and need to think of something fun for Halloween. Ideas are easy. Follow-through is not so easy.
