When I was in Vienna, I visited Schönbrunn Palace. It has a huge park, which is free to the public during opening hours. Anyway, before I went, I googled it and I found out there is a Roman Ruin in the palace park. So I went there. It looks fabulous.

I think the Oscar ceremony has not been so entertaining for a long time. That WTF moment generated so many memes. I only watched four out of the nine nominated best pictures: Arrival, Hidden Figures, La La Land and Moonlight. I don't dislike La La Land. I think Emma Stone is good, the director deserves a directing Oscar, but the plot is so-so. Also ( Read more... )

A few days ago, I went to Oshawa to see a haunted house filmmakers built for the remake of Stephen King's It. I was hoping to see Bill Skarsgard (he was cast to play the notorious clown Pennywise), but the filming hadn't started in that location. Here is a photo. The movie is set to be released on September 8, 2017.

Being a fangirl, I visited a few places people usually don't necessarily visit.

1. Ojai. In recent years, Channing bought a place in this little town that is located 1.5-hr away Northwest of LA. I visited there on a Sunday and found out that Johnny Cash lived there as well in his late years. The town has only 8000 people. Near the main street ( Read more... )
