Met up with wascally_weasel for a drink and a chat on Wednesday. Had a couple of drinks at the Cittie of Yorke then went for a curry.
Quiz last night. Low scoring game, with a three-way tie-break for first place. Showing a stunning lack of imagination, the quizmaster found an IKEA advert in his newspaper and asked us to guess how much a 2m x 2m ‘Hedda’ rug costs. I guessed £140, and it turned out to be £145. So my uncanny rug-sense saved the day for our side.
