Funny enough, I hadn't planned on doing one of these since I knew it would be painful to know how little I wrote this year. Not being wrong is disappointing. I'll go more into that in another post.

Final Word Count: 24003 words
Final Fic Count: 21
Last Years Count: MOAR. I didn't do the meme last year, but considering I had a fic that was roughly this years word count posted at the END of it. I can safely say I wrote far more last year than this one.
Leitmotif(s) of the year: Gentle romance, fluff and quasi-angst. I wrote multiple threesome and foursome fics, as well as two or three pure masturbation fics, which was different. This year was definitely about branching off from the OTP though.
My best story of this year: Mending the Wounds got the most amount of praise, which still leaves me inappropriately pleased.
My favorite story of this year: Alabama Morning. I wrote it on a whim after seeing the prompt and it was an absolute joy to write from start to finish.
Story of mine most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: The fic I wrote for
merlin_holidays got the least recognition out of everything I wrote, and since it was written for a fest where the reveals haven't gone up yet, I shouldn't be muttering about it.
I suppose that would make this be One Lone Summer then. That fic was so heady to write, so different from most fics I had done prior yet for a popular pairing and I love the comments I got. I adore them, I do, but the amount of work I put into it, makes it hard to feel like it wasn't a little underappreciated and somehow it is my fault.
Most fun story to write: Unicorn Horns and Puppy Dog Tails. HOW COULD I HAVE DONE LESS. It's about Merlin owning a Lisa Frank trapper keeper and doodling I ♥ Arthur Pendragon everywhere. It was so self-indulgent to write and ridiculous amounts of fun.
Story with the single sexiest moment: I can't say any of them were particularly 'sexy'. Either that or I wrote one and it was horribly forgettable.
Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: Gaius' Giant Phallic Pounding Stick. 'nuff said there.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Again, I can't really think of one that did it for me this year.
Hardest story to write: One Lone Summer.
Biggest Disappointment: Not finishing my Morgana/Gwen drabble series
Biggest Surprise: The reception to Mending the Wounds. I'm still overwhelmed by the comments I got for that fic.
Most Unintentionally Telling Story: Unicorn Horns and Puppy Dog Tails. For all it's ridiculousness hit 98% of my own personal kinks. Weird.
Story I haven't yet written, but intend to: Hunith/Balinor - their first winter
