Each breath was a stuttering burst time unerringly to the beat of Gwen's heart. Morgana caressed Gwen's heated cheek and soaked in the lingering burn. Her fingers soothed away the blush that stained her skin, every single hitch of Gwen's chest, cataloged.

Morgana tasted the answer on the air between their lips before Gwen answered, "Yes."

Her pulse leaped in a swell of searing pleasure. A better reaction did not exist. She slid her hand to cradle the back of Gwen's neck, tilted her head just so, and then kissed her without pause.

Gwen's startled gasp was everything Morgana wanted.
