Class at my college started back today.
I didn’t go.
Because yesterday afternoon, as I was packing to go back,
My Mom told me there was no need.
We don’t have the money to send me back.
I have to drop out, at least for this semester.

Right now, I feel like I’ve been given a metal umbrella amidst a raging storm. It’s keeping me dry, it’s giving me hope. Yet, at any second, lightning could strike. And it could quite possibly kill me. But I’m clinging to it for dear life. ‘Cause there’s a chance of survival, reconciliation. For that, I’d do anything.

I had a weird weird dream last night. It was good and bad and made me cry. I woke up feeling sick to my stomach. I think it was just because I was nervous about today.
