I've made it and have been  busy settling in.  Paying for the school, getting groceries, getting over jetlag, etc.  Haven't done anything too touristy yet, but we get a tour of the city on the first day of class.  And I'll be here a month at least, so much more later!

Oh hi, LJ.  The past couple of weeks have been crazy.  I'm off to Prague in a few hours, don't know when I'll check in again.  Soon I'll post a link to some blog-ness that's for all to see.

Benedict Cumberbatch (most. I have officially gotten into the TEFL program in Prague!!!  I've got a little over three months to sell/donate a lot of stuff and figure out where to keep the rest.  I'm most definitely putting the deposite down but the rest isn't required until you're actually there so if something comes up and it doesn't work out I'm not losing that much.  I'm ( Read more... )

Exciting times exploring the world of TEFL.  It seems like online or weekend courses just aren't taken seriously by employers.  This means I'll have to go abroad for a 4 week course, so sad.  I've found two different programs that include courses, accommodations, transportation, and lifelong job placement once you've finished.  They both seem ( Read more... )
