Got up this morning to a message saying a package had been delivered to the South Building...all packages are going to the South Building now because the intra-building package delivery room is still recovering from the hurricane Ida flooding...so I scurried over to pick it up. As usual, I had no idea what was in it.

Yesterday was an ordinary one but one in which I did one thing that I'd never done before, at least not this way: I went food shopping on my own.

A huge Giant Foods opened nearby but, when I walked there on Tuesday, 7 September, right after I got home from Lewes, it was closed.

I've been getting Bas Bleu for years which shows that, as an organization, they are persistent. I can't remember the last time I ordered from them but their catalogs appear in my mail box at least once a week.

Thanks to COVID-19, my weekdays are quiet. Weekends are even quieter. Today's big event was getting dressed...at 2:00 p.m....four hours after I got out of bed. Other than that, a bit of tidying up, laundry folded and put away a load of laundry, and "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" watched.

About once a week, I order groceries from the Whole Foods I can see out my window. My order is always over $35...usually at least $35 x 2...so I get free delivery. Yesterday's delivery came in nine bags; somewhere in those bags were a box of fudgeicles and two frozen pizzas. (Don't judge me!) I haven't been inside a store since 9 March 2020: four months and 17 days. Does that mean I haven't bought anything in four-and-a-half months? Don't be ridiculous! Of course I have.
