I'm up to 69,000 words on my novel.  o_O  I really can't believe it.
Two chapters to go and it will be drafted and fully real.
I first had the idea for this novel when I was 19 or so.  Now I am 45!
Fanfic, the amazing and inspirational community of fanfic writers, and nanowrimo, have helped to make me capable of this.

I am still on goal for NaNo which freaking amazes me.  The completion of my 32,000 word 2010 novel blew my mind... but this ability to actually sit down and type out 2000 words a day is uncanny.  I used to be a poet only!!  Since joining LJ in late 2007, I have watched as my ability to tell a longer story has grown and changed.  I'm still not sure ( Read more... )
