There was a major accident up on the mountain this morning. In an accident with more than a few disturbing similarities to the one which killed Mark Porter two years ago, Paul Weel spun his Paul Weel Racing Commodore in the Sulman/Reid Park area and was struck on the drivers side by the Team Kiwi Racing Falcon of Chris Pither. The BMW Minis were first onto the track, Paul Morris' two international drivers from the #67 car, NASCAR's Boris Said and BTCC's Matt Neal getting some early laps in the little British Beemers, then the V8 Utes.
