And so it begins...

The BMW Minis were first onto the track, Paul Morris' two international drivers from the #67 car, NASCAR's Boris Said and BTCC's Matt Neal getting some early laps in the little British Beemers, then the V8 Utes. Great to see friends of mine at Wilson Brothers Racing topped the Ute time sheets with former Rugby League star Jack Elsegood.

DJR co-driver and series points leader Steve Owen topped the Fujitsu Series second tier V8 Supercar session, which was interrupted three times by red flags with Dale Wood identified as one of the culprits. Stone Brothers co-driver Jonathan Webb was second fastest ahead of Jack Daniels Racing co-driver Jack Perkins. Tim Slade, who almost got a GRM enduro seat was foruth fastest ahead of FPR co-driver Dean Canto and replaced HSVDT co-driver Marcus Zukanovic. Luke Youlden, Daviud Reynolds and Karl Reindler, again all V8 co-'s were next with David Seiders the first genuine amateur in tenth.

David Russell led Dean Fiore in Carrera Cup with dominant series leader Craig Baird third fastest.
