I'm totally on my medieval/ren faire kick.  I am so desperate for faire!  I want to work there so badly, but I know that it's just not going to happen.  So, I've already planned to go with Mike, Katie, Jon, and Costina all on separate occasions.  Anyone else?  I'm going to try to save my pennies so I can get a kick ass bodice/corset ( Read more... )

I miss being an OL.

Plain and simple.  I just miss it.

I miss the feeling of authority...that I was an experienced college student...to have incoming students and parents look up to me...want to hear my advice...want to ask questions and listen to my stories.  I miss being able to answer questions and to tell what it is like at Heidelberg...the fun, ( Read more... )

The Great Lakes Medieval Faire yesterday was unbelievable!!!  Oh, it was so gorgeous.  That's what you get for having a permanent medieval faire in the forest instead of a temporary one.  We were completely in the woods, surrounded by trees...everything was so real.  No artificial (let's pretend).  I felt like I ( Read more... )
