Simon enjoyed his birthday, I think, he certainly enjoyed the chocolate cake. On the way home on Monday night we stopped at Mum and Dad's and picked up the changing top for the chest of drawers, which was the last baby thing we needed.
I set up everything yesterday to finally dedicate my altar, but as it didn't stop raining I couldn't do it.
This morning I got up, breakfasted, purified myself and consecrated the garden altar to Minerva. I also blessed some tools and made an offering of milk and honey Carmenta, the Roman Goddess of child birth. Alexander is getting lower all the time, and I am getting more and more uncomfortable, so I hope something happens soon. Simon is adamant he is going to Levisham next weekend as we need to put the marquee up for 60s weekend, and without Simon there won't be enough people covered by the insurance as trained marquee erectors to do it. The next weekend is the 60s weekend, and as Simon holds the license for the bar he needs to be there. I might be in York with Mum instead, depending on how things go!
