(no subject)
Still nothing. I've been up and active all day to see if it helps, so I've got the 2 gallons of plum and 2 gallons of elder berry wine bottled. My auto stop bottle filler thing definitely makes the job much easier, rather then having to mouth syphon when the valve has failed for every bottle!
The birth room couldn't be more ready, now I've got rid of the dead mouse the cats had left me between the demijohns and vacuumed everything, again! The last possibility is moving our big up-lighter in there, but if I go into labour in the dark we can do that as needed anyway.
Simon got home from Birmingham at 18:00, and we did a bit more gardening, so we might have sweet peas and sunflowers this year, and he is now fixing the landing carpet, which never got done after it was chopped for the new stairs to the loft extension.
I really hope something happens tonight as I've got the mid wife tomorrow for a stretch and sweep (sounds nasty!) and I bet she'll try and book me in to get induced next week, which I really don't want. Apparently M had a stretch and sweep today, so she might beat me to it. I'm sure she isn't due for another week, so I'm not sure what is happening there.
Life might be simpler without the baby, but I'm getting tired of all the phone calls from people who seem to think we've had it a week ago and just not bothered to tell them!
