A C-17 Globemaster III cargo plane crashed and burned on Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage Alaska this evening last night according to the Alaska National Guard. The plane went down about two miles north and east of the runways. Military officials have confirmed that a crew of four were on board the aircraft at the time of the crash.
