Car bomb in Times Square
various news sources are telling me the "possible car fire" was in fact an attempted bombing in Times Square.
a vehicle loaded with propane tanks, fireworks, gas, and other explosives of "simple nature" plus two times and fuses was left in times square. apparently it failed to go off, but did spark and smoke.

when i first got the news i was hoping it was just a car fire... or some mis understanding like the light bright thing.... but no, apparently not.
