Over a year later since breaking my foot I'm still having issues and it sucks. Partly I think its because of how much walking I've been doing with my two jobs. I'm pretty much on my feet from 9am to 12a walking around (you never realize how big a hospital is till you have to spend two days walking around one just to visit all of the areas). So since I am taking till January off for school I'm trying to get a second job and keep saving up more money for school and such. Another reason is to get some actual job references that I can use since as a general policy, Wendy's my current employer does not give references which sucks. So I stayed an extra 40min at work (it was that or be sent home early) and now I'm also going back at 7 to close for one of the girls as she isn't feeling well (nor does she look all that well either). I love how I get promised one thing then they turn around and do another. I talked to Matt over the holidays about hours in January and February, slow months for us. We had a bit of a cold snap on Thursday, like into the single digits which means I'm more likely to have a Raynaud's episode. I knew from the moment I walked outside to go to work and it was hailing it was not going to be my night.....at least I found my lidocaine for the burn on my hand from Sunday (which I got yelled at for not telling the manager but I did! Another crew remembers me saying something to him!)

Mostly, I'm bored. There is only so much time you can spend sitting around on a couch watching movies (because I have no cable). Despite the other week's events putting me behind in preping for Anime North I think I'm actually all ready for the con, while getting there has been stressful (I just figured out today how I'm actually getting there for instance).
