Really? I don't get paid enough to deal with this...

My Wendy's has seemed to have become the new day time home to a homeless drunk guy that I will call 3D for a lack of a better name, and the fact he wears 3D movie glasses over his regular ones.

So anyways, last night 3D is standing in the front doors with his little luggage carrier of his belongings and as I was going next door for a Kinder Surprise Egg (because we were talking about how they are illegal in the US all night), I held the door open so he could get in, and also no longer block the doors. So I go over, come back, he's sitting at the far back table, and Debbie who is covering my cash break is at the counter so we are talking about Kinder Eggs again when 3D starts shouting at us, thinking we are talking about him and that he will be getting something. What I didn't know then was, he had been in the store earlier and stayed for nearly 4 hours (leaving just before I started). Poor Debbie almost starts crying and I retreat to the back.

Back from break, he's still sitting at the table at the back then disappears, which I assumed was just the bathroom or something, so getting close to 9 I start to put the chairs up along the bench, as we have issues with people leaving huge messes there late at night so we always put the chairs up. Well apparently 3D is also sitting there, so I put up the chairs leaving the ones where he is sitting and he comes back asking why I'm putting up the chairs which I give him the reason of people making messes late at night. He seems really annoyed at this, but seems to accept this, and I go away to sever some customers. While I'm doing this every 10min or so he pops up and glares at me from where he is sitting on the bench, and keeps watching me whenever I'm out in the dinning room, stocking and cleaning tables. Basically this goes on, with me feeling uncomfortable anytime I was out in the dinning room, which was made worse when I misheard him (as he was drunk...I found the bottles and you could smell it) and took to badgering me anytime I went out to the dinning room so I just stopped.

Now as to why my managers didn't just kick him out, the dinning room had 5-10people in it the entire time, after an hour, we consider you to be loitering and generally ask you to leave unless you order again. And the managers didn't want to kick him out in front of a group of people not knowing the whole story, looking like they were picking on some old guy. Anyways he finally left around 10:30ish, and I was able to do my stuff (well behind...)

So today came into work, annoyed at having to be front cash again (after a crappy night before) and only to have who show up again? My friend 3D. Thankfully, Jamie who dealt with him the day before understood why I wasn't going to go out into the dinning room again, as trust me, 3D gave me plenty of glares once more and I'm sure if I went out there he would have started yelling at me again....

Thankfully, I was saved by Lyndsey who didn't want to do lettuce so we switched and I didn't have to deal with him all afternoon till I was leaving, talking to some co-workers also off and it was like...just leave me alone. We all know you are drunk...

So yeah, that was my weekend....Just really needed to vent it out. We are in the so called 'nice' part of London, I really don't have the experience, nor do I get paid enough to deal with senile drunk men....
