I have been looking at teaching English in Ukraine. I am 31, single, American, white (mostly) and well, I do wonder if it would be a good idea. I most likely will be living in Kiev if I go.
I would also consider other former USSR nations or Hungary.

I was in Korea from June 23, 2005 until October 30, 2006. I was an English teacher there. I was fired from my hagwon (long story). Now my sister wants to teach English there. Ugh. When I first arrived in Korea in 2005, I didn't do well at all in my teaching. It was my fault at first because I didn't try hard enough. I later tried harder and did a lot better, but nobody forgot about the past. I also had a terrible supervisor and roommate that called the head of the company at the drop of a hat.
