I may have an opportunity to work for an American Company that has landed a USA contract to build a large USA Gov't project in Khartoum Sudan.
I already read the updated USA Gov't Warning for Sudan, updated Aug 5, 2005. http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/tw/tw_934.html
The warning focuses on Dafur and the south and does not include much info about Khartoum, but mentions Westerners being targets for terrorists.
I would appreciate any feedback regarding life and security in Khartoum - really great if someone knows someone there right now.
