I do.  Imagine my surprise when my left foot started a familiar ache on Sunday.  It only proceeded to worsen to the point where, once again, I couldn't sleep because of the pain.

My ankle is back to 100%, thankfully. Actually by Friday it was almost completely back to normal.  I only ended up taking 3 of the 20 oxycodon pills I got so I guess that confims I'm not a junkie. Yeah ( Read more... )

So my doctor called and my blood work was great (cholesterol was WAY better than I expected) which means I strained my ankle somehow.  It's improved today and the doc and I agreed that since I could walk on it that it's not a fracture and won't need an X-ray unless it doesn't improve.

So that's good news.  I just wish I knew how I did it...

It's rare that I'm in real pain. Sure, attacks of gout spring up and make my toe hurt and make it difficult to walk but they're quickly treated and the pain is bearable ( Read more... )

Well this evening was certainly fun. I met with #2 and a handful of her friends in Forest Park to watch Shakespeare Under the Stars. There was quite a crowd and jugglers, belly dancers, and a 20 minute version of the play to keep the crowd entertained ( Read more... )

I'm a bit disappointed by the reaction at Dragonsfoot to the OD&D submission. I'd expected some feedback...after all, a number of people on the DF boards helped me with various parts of it...you'd think they'd comment on how it turned out.
