Horrible Equilibrium
My ankle is back to 100%, thankfully. Actually by Friday it was almost completely back to normal. I only ended up taking 3 of the 20 oxycodon pills I got so I guess that confims I'm not a junkie. Yeah!
Of course, something goes wrong tonight... Nothing terrible, just inconvenient. Without warning my 360 locked up and gave me the dreaded red ring of doom. You 360 owners will know what I'm talking about. Think blue screen o' death but 1000 times more sinister. XBOX no workie. Part of me was thinking it was bound to happen since I picked one up so early and hadn't had any issues yet. Still, after having owned it for less than 10 months, I'd be super-pissed if I didn't get some compensation.
So I called MS customer support (at 11:30pm no less) got right through, got a nice lady who went through troubleshooting with me to no avail. Turns out any console manufactured in 2005 (like mine) is covered under a special warranty so they're sending me a box in the mail to ship it down to them and will fix/replace it no charge. Yeaaaahhh! I'll be sans-360 for a couple weeks, but that's no biggie.
That's the first time I think I've gotten worthwhile customer support from any electronic device manufacturer.
