After the temporary fix to the electrics yesterday, I was told that I would get a proper call today to arrange a visit to sort the problem out. I've cancelled tonights Horrorclix just incase and well, its been a waste of a day. No sign of a phone call so tomorrow I'm calling the Council to get them out here to fix it. With Horrorclix now going fortnightly, I have a day to myself. My plan is to write another chapter for the TL_Chronicles and then finish painting some more marines for 40K. I also have a couple DVDs to watch tonight as well (Pirates of the Carribean 3 and Churchill: the Hollywood Years).

Tonight we held a "release night" event for Nightmares. Everyone had to dress up as a character they played in their team, and the winner of the evening won a free brick of Nightmares.

Tonight's Horrorclix tournament went a bit lackluster. Two people dropped out (one from lack of cash, the other from illness) and that left four players. Another small turnout for Horrorclix tonight, and its sapped the desire to play that I had earlier today. I'm going to play simply because I want to and haven't for ages.

Edit: I did play and I did enjoy myself. I lost both games but I had the fun come back.

Had a terrible nights sleep again, though this time down to the sheer amount of coke that I drank all evening. I really must learn to lay off the fizzy pop during the evening ( Read more... )

All through last nights D&D game I was up and running to the loo every few minutes, even with some nice pills to help. At least I got a good nights sleep last night.
