Just got back from my weekly meeting with Vassilis. He told me it's time to start writing my paper, and finishing figures will come with the writing (especially since as you write you often think of things you want to add in figures). This week a lot of focus has been on invitations. We spent quite a bit of time prior doing the designing, but this week we ordered envelopes, made final touch-ups to the design, printed, cut them out, addressed envelopes and stuffed them...Now we are just missing a few peoples' contact info, but excited to be sending out the invites very soon! This Saturday, after a church leadership meeting and a co-worker's son's 6th birthday party, we visited the infamous Moskatel's in downtown LA, which is the largest/cheapest craft store ever! There was so much there...We gleaned some ideas and even found the branches we were thinking of ordering online to make our Wish Tree!
