The TV Stations here are advertising for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure and I am thinking about doing it. It is a 3 day/60 mile walk (20 miles a day) and the proceeds go to breast cancer research. I requested an information packet so that I can learn more about the walk before I decide to do it. Tonight was Grey’s Anatomy night at my apartment.

Beth came over early and taught me some more yoga. I am glad she is taking the time to teach me because she is able to position me and hold me in some of the harder positions. I woke up at six and I went for a run. It turned into more of walk than a run but I did run for a bit. I was having a problem keeping my eyes open. Once I get used to waking up at six I think the running in the morning will work.

Yesterday was awesome! Team Ibaraki (Jana, Taka, Ishajima Sensei, and I) all participated in the Judy Run. (See the post below this one) We had to leave early (6:15 train) to get to Shizoka by 10:00am. We managed to make it down with a couple minutes to spare.

The Judy Run (a charity marathon that raises money for schoolchildren in Cambodia) is tomorrow and I was planning to run the 5k marathon. Unfortunately, when I was running last week I did something to my ankle and I took a week off to let it rest. I went for a fast run yesterday. I think I ran around 1.5km or 2km. I need to step up my running if I want to make it through my 5km run on the 26th.

It was a nice day yesterday and for some reason I felt the need to clean out my closet. I put all of my winter wear in my suitcase and then started to wash/air out all of my spring/summer wear. I did two piles of laundry yesterday and I have two more piles to do today when that is done I will be ready for spring and summer.

Yesterday I taught at Ami Daiichi Sho. I arrived to work at 8:20 (I am required to be to work by 8:30) and I sat down to prepare for first period, which started at 8:45.
