Today is Gillian's birthday. Hooray, my beautiful girl is four! We did lunch and shopping today, but the real celebrations took place over the weekend. Saturday was her first trip to the Rennaisance Faire, where she became a lady of the court, got knighted, did a ribbon dance on stage, talked to fairies and a man on stilts, and rode an elephant. The wonderful desdenova sent me a link to an amusing article about what it's like to be Keith Richards. This may be of interest to those of you who a) like Keith too, b) have ever played in a game with me while I was playing Keith, or c) want to know what the hell my deal is with regard to him. Just, yeah.

Here is a little fic I wrote, which I'm posting for anyone who cares to read it. It's not much more than 1,000 words. It is about the (historically accurate) childhood interactions between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, and is (therefore) entirely slash-free. If you are curious, enjoy.

I don't usually use icons that someone else made, but this one tickles me, so here it is at least once (taken from lottie_doyle). Stones and Harry Potter all in one! I saw some other icons that had Keith labeled as Sirus Black and Mick as Remus Lupin. Which works pretty well, actually.

Friday, Gillian and I went to see Photographers Who ROCK! There ain’t a lot of culture in Orlando, and I was determined to see this, even though I forgot about the closing date and had to rush over on the last day.
