Due to a weather delay, no one is sure where. The troops were
still sitting
in Germany enjoying a beer at 6:00 am this morning (our time).
We believe
they may arrive at Forbes tonight around 7:30-8:00pm.

The Boy called and he gets on the plane bound for home at 3:30
this
afternoon (our time). He should arrive at Forbes Airfield
tomorrow morning
between 8-9. I will be there, and then on to Ft Riley for a
brief visit.
Pencil us in for a homecoming party Feb 12th. More on that
later.

The Boy has arrived safely in Kuwait, and is scheduled to leave
there Mon.
Jan 31st at 1:45pm our time and arrive at Forbes Airfield in
Topeka 19 hours
later. That is as of 3:00am this morning. I will try to keep you
updated, it
is liable to change MANY times between now and then.

It seems The Boy is very excited about his impending departure from Baghdad next week. I was awakened at 3:40 this morning to the sounds of a very chipper soldier. He, of course, was just getting off work and was full of piss and vinegar, it took me a few minutes to get up to speed. LOL Poor thing even asked me if I'd rather go back to sleep. So, for now I'm back at home and currently "non-deployable." I will slowly be posting the things I wrote by hand during the month I was gone.
