How common is it for your trainer who has helped you to find a horse, to charge a commission? My trainer, who has willingly driven with me hours each way and all the way to Canada to check out multiple horses, charges a 10% commission. Well, the subject line says it all. The Boss Vet came for a recheck today and when he found her not any better, he suggested ultrasound imaging for the left hind. Her left hind suspensory ligament (the one at the back, below the hock) is extremely inflamed and this is probably the root of her unsoundness. I've always planned to stay in Michigan long term, and a big reason for that is my horses. Michigan has so many affordable areas for equestrians.
