(no subject)
i got all my wisdom teeth out yesterday. i'm getting through it better than people told me i would! so far i've had the one painkiller they fed me before surgery yesterday, and that's it. i heard more horror stories than survivor stories so i feel good adding mine to the latter pile :D
it was my first time going under general anesthesia and also my first time getting stitches. i was excited. they told me i might get bruising down the sides of my face, too, but that didn't happen. bummer. i was looking forward to looking like i got punched.
it's only been a little bit over 24 hours since i got home from the surgery and i already miss solid food. in that time, i've had three scoops of ice cream, chocolate mousse cake, a bowl of dou hua, half a bowl of porridge, half a mashed potato, and a bowl of soup and i'm still hungry all. the time. it's the worst. ALL I WANT IS SOME BREAD AND RICE OKAY, THAT IS ALL I WANT.
