Shot my best game of pool EVAR tonight.

I broke, and then ran the table RIIIIIGHT up until the 8-ball...which was surrounded by stripes. Oops. Chased the 8 for the rest of the game until Tom beat me.

But, still...I have NEVER had a run like that. Ever. Seriously. I'm very proud of that game.

...so where the fuck did this hangover come from? *boggle*

In other news...actually, there IS no other news; I guess I could talk about how I did rather well at pool last night. *pshrug*

I suppose from my last few entries that it might seem as if all I do anymore is martial arts and rollerblading; I assure you, I still do other things.

Sang, "In the Middle" by Jimmy Eat World, which I'd never done before, and really kicked ass on it.

Also did "88 Lines about 44 Women" and did okay; cool song.

Went to the Merc for DIE. Won three games of pool before losing the fourth; made a lot of really decent shots that I wouldn't have even seen, let alone attempted, a few months ago.

Had an okay time, but it was really sparse in there, alas.

Gots me a copy of Wall-E; anyone who hasn't seen it yet, I'm your source. :)

OMG, I needed that! I'd forgotten how much fun DIE is.

I shot a few really great games of pool (and one really, really terrible one), chatted with a few friends, had a great ol' time. I'm gonna have to make DIE a regular part of my week again; I've really missed it without quite realizing it.

Think I might be going to DIE tonight; it's been forever and a half, and I could totally handle hitting the Merc tonight. Seriously. I haven't played pool in forever, either; gonna bring Gertrude with me and knock a few balls around...might actually play pool, too ( Read more... )

Made with the karaoke and pool with folks tonight. Was good. Won at pool more times than I actually think I deserved, sang an oldies and a Roxette song I've never done before...was good. Drunk perhaps more than my fair share of the rum. S'okay...

Sleep now.

Great DIE at the Mercury.

Drank tequila, played pool, socialized (waxed eloquent, even).

Was what I needed. Cathartic.

Now stuffing face with Subway™. Is good.
