I'm officially halfway through the holiday performance season.  Play of Herod was this past weekend, and it was awesome.  It's kind of an acquired taste, but I love it.  I start as an angel, and then become an innocent, both of which I find highly amusing.  ;-)  This coming weekend is our choir concert, which I fear will not be nearly as awesome.   ( Read more... )

My sister is in the hospital with very low amniotic fluid levels.  They have her on IVs, but if they haven't come up by this afternoon, they're most likely going to induce her.  She's only 34 weeks, but the baby is measuring 20" and is 5lb 8oz, and she's extremely healthy.  Obviously it would be best if she stayed in a bit longer, but no one seems ( Read more... )

I've taken to measuring how crap my day is by the size of the pile of Tootsie Roll wrappers on my desk.

Apparently, today I'm lucky not to be in a sugar coma.

• Today has been full of "I wish I had vodka in my water bottle" meetings.  I love my coworkers, but some of them really need to learn when to zip it.
• Tylenol doesn't work worth shit.
• Pandora is finally getting one of my stations down just the way I like it.  Yay!
