I'm alive, honest!  Time tends to stand still when I'm in Chicago with my family, and once my niece arrived...well, it was pretty much "Computer?  What computer?"

 No baby for me this time around, but other than that I'm surrounded, and it's completely awesome!  I stayed at my best friend's house Sunday night to help her with her six week old baby.  He was so incredibly amazing.  After I gave him his 2 am feeding, he fell asleep on my chest and we cuddled for almost two hours.  K's trying to get him to stop ( Read more... )

My sister is in the hospital with very low amniotic fluid levels.  They have her on IVs, but if they haven't come up by this afternoon, they're most likely going to induce her.  She's only 34 weeks, but the baby is measuring 20" and is 5lb 8oz, and she's extremely healthy.  Obviously it would be best if she stayed in a bit longer, but no one seems ( Read more... )
