I think I may have caught my roommate's sinus infection, since everytime I move my head there's a really painful throbbing.

Of course this also happens the week I have a final paper and a midterm to take, while also getting ready to fly out to Vienna. Boo.

My final paper for my medieval Europe class got accepted to an undergraduate German studies conference. In March, I'll be presenting at my first ever academic conference.

Been about a week since I've moved back into school, and done with first week of classes. I am fangirling Professor Harte like crazy, just sitting in his Chekhov seminar with a giant smile on my face, and am loving the readings for Russian Memoirs so far. Good Things
-Thanksgiving was pretty awesome, actually, despite my fears. My lovely friend Laura was over and we stayed up most of Wednesday night watching Harry Potter, Baccano!, and Invader Zim. Food was delicious, as per usual, and even though most of it was vegan I barely noticed.

The professors in the Russian department are, really, some of the nicest and most helpful people I've met so far at Bryn Mawr. I spent most of the Tea today talking with Sharon Bain about languages and majors/minors, and she basically said that minoring in Russian is not outside the realm of possibilities even though I haven't taken the class yet. I just realized I had an annotated bibliography due two days ago that I have neither started nor thought about, in a class where I am already most certainly not doing spectacularly in.

I'm too shocked and afraid to freak out.
