I watched bits of the inauguration live on TV. Mostly because it reminded me of the important thing that happened the last time - my PhD thesis defence. It kind of makes me invested in foreign politics. Not enough however to check why last one was on Tuesday.

I saw the PHD Movie today and it truly is funny. One can tell it's not a professional production and sometime it feels like the people are just reciting the lines and it's feels like bunch of gags not one story but it just flew by before I realised. I think I mentioned I like the phdcomics several times. I'm not sure I mentioned they made a movie out of it. It's amateur production but from the trailer it looked fun. It was unavoidable I suppose. It just had to happen. After earthquake two weeks ago and hurricane little over a week ago it was time for tornados today. What used to hurricane and then tropical storm Lee hit us today and it was more impresive then Irene. So it's been three weeks since I defended my thesis and the post from that day disappeared from the first page. It is time to take off the celebratory ornaments and go back to normality.

The weather become very early spring lately. I have to remind myself it's still just the end of January not the beginning of March (I didn't loose a month somehow, did I?). Today it was sunny and +5. I spent most of the day sleeping off the stress. The weather didn't help - it was raining this morning. Plus temperatures even during the night - the last remnants of snow turn into slush.
