I saw Cloud Atlas today. I saw so many conflicting things about it - from masterpiece to confusing mess and I thought that trailer looked interesting so I wanted to catch it before it's gone. Today, finally after two months of waiting we got our missing bench tables and finally have enough workspace not to sit on one another. I think I mentioned I like the phdcomics several times. I'm not sure I mentioned they made a movie out of it. It's amateur production but from the trailer it looked fun. This is an hour long Matrix fan film and it's pretty awesome. Well, the first part is pretty ridiculous but then you realise that this is a fan film within the fan film and the animation in the main story is pretty amazing. It looks really great in HD. And it comes with a lot of different language subtitles (including Polish).

Last week I went and saw Battle: Los Angeles. I thought this would be a perfect movie to take one minds from reality. With enemy that no one cares about and a lot of explosions. And it delivered. I've went to see True Grit yesterday. I've been to see movies every week in past 3 weeks. Each week something completely different but they all basically the kind of movies I like: SF full of special effects, British movie and a Coen brothers movie.  Although I liked True Grit it didn't really blow me away. S I watched Red. I wanted to see it because I have a soft spot for Felicia Day and because Stephen McHattie is one of my favourite bad guys. Well, not just bad. I went to see Red yesterday. And I had so much fun. Actually we all did and as my friend told me she end up enjoying it much more then she expected to.
