Between terrorist attacks and cancer this was a depressing week.

Today is the anniversary of Columbia space shuttle accident. It's been 11 years but I can still clearly recall the pictures of the burning fragments in the sky. On 28th it was the anniversary of Challenger destruction . I also remember that - I was already in bed but I could hear the TV and I didn't want to believe it. My grandmother just died - her funeral was today and I couldn't make it - there wasn't enough time for me to get there on time. Instead I was just walking all depressed for the past couple of days. Today was the day of space rocks. While everyone (or at least anyone with a space obsession which means tiny fraction of populace) was preparing to watch the closest asteroid flyby (closer then some of the satellites and you could've seen it with naked eyes if you had night-time and no clouds) something more spectacular happened.
