Outside there is a second night of freezing temperatures in my 3 day break from heat wave but from Monday the temperatures are to rise again and the Christmas weather forecast says 24oC (75oF). It was 22 oC today and the day started with rain but there is still some left over snow lying in the shade. This means it lasted the whole week and that's longer then I ever expected it to last. It was 5oC and the windchill made it feel even colder on Saturday. It was 18 on Monday. Sunny and warm. On Tuesday night temperature dropped below -10 and it felt even colder. It's winter on Northern hemisphere and it makes sure we all notice. The snow is falling like crazy both in North America and Europe. Blizzard raged in the US Midwest. There's a rainstorm outside. It is a first downpour today but the heavy rains come everyday now. In the South there's already been some local flooding and it'll probably getting worse now. Although it almost rained yesterday, today was sunny and very hot. After last year's weather disaster I was afraid of repeat but forecast indicates it's going to be between warm and very hot.
