Once upon a time I had a dream of writing a 12th century costuming book, since, to be honest, there's not really a good one out there. Then I got caught up in all that I don't know and my two binders of notes are sitting in a Hobbit tote bag in the library awaiting the return of motivation.

Outside my window ... Today is a cloudy day. It rained last night on the way home from Welland and Paris and I assume from the look of the pavement this morning that it rained overnight as well. Outside my window ... Cloudy-bright. Snow on the ground. Typical February Day. I did see a few wild turkeys during my morning drive (just outside Waterloo). I saw some yesterday, too, between Burgoyne and Paisley.

I'm finding myself thinking about camp kitchens these past couple days. This year we did four camping events: Fruits of our Labours (May), Lilies War (June), War of the Trillium (July) and Pennsic (July/August).
