Or maybe I should have title this, Mr. Cranky-No-Pants. It's so hot that he pretty much crawls around in a onesie. Hence, no pants. We only have one window air-conditioner, which is very much the power-horse, but the bedrooms don't get very cool unless we run the main furnace fan (without the heat, obviously.) A fellow blogger, and long time friend, recently posted an amazing letter to his newborn daughter. I found it to be a stellar collection of advice. It's a worthwhile read if you have a few minutes: Seriously?

Bebe started crawling forward tonight for the first time! Woohoo! Mio marito isn't home yet from climbing so I didn't get to share the excitement with him. I did video with both the camcorder and my phone -- I sent the video to him -- but as he was probably dangling from a rope on a high rock, I didn't expect to hear from him until dark. This is a bit of old news that never made it to a post. We have been a one-car family for years now (almost 6 years). There was a brief 6 month stint in Baltimore where we had two cars, but it was sold before we moved back to Oregon. We've been looking around for a second car but couldn't figure out how to swing the payments, even on a used one ( Read more... )

So, Bebe is mostly sleeping through the night. We've got him down to one 2 a.m. feeding. Yay! We kept the one feeding mostly to keep my milk up since I pump at work five days a week. If I don't feed at least once during the night, my milk starts to lessen. We ended up with only a few fussy nights before he settled in to this new schedule, thank ( Read more... )
